Privacy policy.
The short version: I collect only what I need to reply to you and to understand how the site is used. I don’t sell it, and this site runs no advertising trackers.
Who this covers
Turley Digital is an independent marketing practice run by Grayson Turley in San Diego, California. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Turley Digital. It explains how I handle personal information collected through turleydigital.com and through messages you send me.
Information I handle for clients during an engagement is governed by that engagement’s agreement, not by this policy.
What I collect
Information you give me
When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, company (if you add one), and your message. If you email or call me directly, I receive whatever you include, such as your contact details and the content of the conversation.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically:
- Usage data through Google Analytics: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), your device and browser type, and your approximate location, such as city or country.
- Server data recorded by the site’s host, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request, used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
I don’t ask for, and don’t want, sensitive information such as financial account numbers or health details through this site.
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry and continue a conversation you started.
- To provide services, send proposals, and manage a working relationship if we decide to work together.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site and the contact form secure and free of spam.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
I won’t add you to a marketing list without your permission.
How long I keep it
I keep messages and correspondence for as long as I need them to respond, carry out any work we agree on, and keep reasonable business records, and then I delete them. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically under the analytics account’s retention settings.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and I take reasonable steps to protect the information you send me. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to tell you what personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. I’ll respond to requests as the applicable law requires, and I won’t treat you differently for making one.
To make a request, contact me using the details below. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I’ll delete it.
Other websites
The site may link to websites I don’t control. Their own privacy policies apply, and I’m not responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I’ll post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top of the page.
